The 25th of January was Angels Night at the Honda Center. The sad fact was that the Ducks lost 4-0 to the Edmonton Oilers. It was still fun, though. We arrived very early. There was a tent giving out free Ducks shirts. The shirts were size large or X-large.
They had an Angels logo on the sleeve. The Honda Center, I discovered, is very nice. There is a lot of marble. It also doesn’t feel as packed as some stadiums do. They started practicing early with about 50 pucks. We were very high up.
The Oilers scored their first goal in the second period. They scored 3 in the 3rd period. Kids played hockey during the first intermission. During the second intermission, we went to get hot dogs. I got a picture with a cardboard Ducks player.
It was very fun despite the fact that the Ducks lost.
